I'm constantly worrying about my coolant temp and battery voltage, and am planning to install the 300degree DIN 3-gauge panel, with coolant temp, battery, and one other (vacuum?) gauge. Problem is I'm not familiar with gauge manufacturers and their relative worth. Best gauges out there seem to be Defi and Autometer, but not too wild about paying the prices they are asking which would put the total gauge cost in the $400 range. I know I'm asking a "you get what you pay for" question, but really, is a voltage or temp gauge really worth $160? Are there mid-priced gauges out there with reasonable quality and accuracy?
